So... a blog?
Not necessarily. A blog implies a feed of posts, each tied to the date they were first shared, and rarely — if ever — updated again. By contrast, every page on this site is alive (like a garden!), and constantly being updated with new information and connections.
Why?
I like blogs.
But it's not a blog!
Right! I like blogs, but they have one shortcoming, and it's that they need to be constantly kept up-to-date lest they be considered "dead." Many of my favorite blogs have links on the front page to evergreen posts from that blog. On these blogs, the blogger can take years off, but folks who stumble upon the site still have something relevant to read.
So I asked: What's the point of the feed at all? Why not just share links and writing and whatnot and allow visitors to discover it in whatever order they please, and at any point in the future?
How will I know where to start?
